PR plan for a client-style brief
A PR plan produced as part of my first-year coursework — audience research, message framing, and brand positioning against a structured brief.
The problem
First-year module brief: build a PR plan that responds to a real-world-style client situation. The exercise asks you to make audience, message, and channel decisions in the same way an agency would, not to design pretty slides.
The approach
Started with audience research — who the brand actually needs to move, what they already think, where they encounter the brand. Used message-framing techniques covered in the module to shape what the brand should say differently. Built the plan around three core audience segments rather than one catch-all.
The outcome
Submitted as graded coursework. Used now as a portfolio sample of how I structure a PR brief — audience-first, message second, channels last.
